So now that you've created your ezine announcement message, let's take a look at some of the place you can submit it to and the best method of doing it.
Before we get started submitting your announcement to the lists, I'd like to show you a sample announcement that I created some time ago for one of my ezines on heart health.

Notice how this sample announcement implements all the elements of an ezine announcement I discussed earlier.
Now look at your ezine announcement. Is there any way you can make it better? Do it now, before we start submitting it to the lists.
After you create your ezine's announcement message, it's time to send it out to the various lists that accept announcements. Subscribe to the lists and be sure to follow the guidelines for posting on each list.
Many lists allow you to keep posting your message again and again, but with conditions. Some require a major change in the content or details of your ezine. Others set a limit on how frequently you can post to the list.
Once you get established on the lists, you should drop your postings to about once a month or every other week. This will prevent 'overloading' people with your ad.
ANNOUNCEMENT LISTS
Here is a list of the most popular services to get started with:
--> New-List.com:
New-List is a series of mailing lists segmented by category that provide the Internet community with notification of the creation of new email lists on any topic. This free service is a great way to get the word out to grow your list, and because it delivers the new list announcements by category, you can sign up to receive all new list announcements or just the announcements of the specific categories of your special interests!
--> Classroom Connect's NEW-List:
This grand-daddy of all ezine announcement lists was first hosted on the Internet Scout Project website and has now moved over to Classroom Connect. Business related ezines are usually not accepted.
--> New Jour:
New Jour is an Internet list for new journals and newsletters available on the Internet. You can submit details using an online form. The list and archive are moderated, so only vetted and edited postings will appear. There is a limit of 150-200 words for the announcement.
