Crafting Your Announcement - And Pulling In The Crowds!

PROVIDE A DESCRIPTION

The cold, hard facts about your ezine. This is similar to the information on the 'editors message' page of magazines and newspapers.

- What is your ezine's name or title?

- Who created and published it?

- What is it about?

- What kind of people are likely to find it useful and
interesting?

- How often do you publish it?

- What do you offer in it - articles, reviews, analysis,
tips, quotes, jokes?

- Do readers have to pay for it?

MENTION YOUR EZINE'S U.S.P.

Experienced marketers always insist on offering a USP or Unique Selling Proposition. This is something that sets your ezine apart from the crowd, the special ingredient that makes your ezine desirable and attracts readers.

So what is your USP?

- Do you offer insider tips or specialist expertise?

- Is your content 100% original and new?

- Can you bring joy and peace, riches and fame, success and satisfaction to readers?

If there's something at which you ezine beats the field, say so! But don't hype or boast.

OFFER A SAMPLE

You're asking people to give you something of value - their email address. It's only fair you offer to give them a preview of what they'll get in return - a sample of your ezine.

- Where are your archives of past issues located?

- How can potential subscribers request and receive a sample of your ezine?

- Is there a website or autoresponder email address to which they can go?
