Rich Schefren's New 'Doctrine' - My Summary

You'll likely appreciate this - because I spent almost an hour
reading the ' Attention Age Doctrine' and found a few key points
that summarized the gist of the 65-page report.

1. Attention spans are getting shorter - for us, and prospects

2. Getting distracted while working on something lowers your
productivity. Chunk time into blocks and work without
interruptions.

3. Knowledge alone is no longer enough - we need to look at how
to use it.

4. It's important to filter the sources of your information for
reliability and quality to avoid being led down the wrong path.

5. Adapting to change, and doing it well in a rapidly changing
environment, can bring you rich rewards.

6. We need information to succeed. We get so much information we
are overloaded. Yet we can't afford to ignore, skim, or randomly
imbibe information.

7. The 'Genius' Secret' is to disconnect from distractions when
doing important work - and focus on getting it done before moving
to the next one.

I Just Gave BIRTH...

For almost 10 months, since September 2006, I have been working on a big project. This morning, like I've done these past few days, I rushed to the front door when the bell rang, expecting my 'baby'.

Today was my lucky day.

I held in my hand my first ever HOME STUDY COURSE.

Eight years back, I experienced the finest moments of my life when my daughter was born. Today, I felt a part of that sense of excitement, wonder and joy as I held the Priority Mail box in my hands!

10 months of work on a project may not sound like much - until you consider my typical product creation cycle. Most of the time, I wake up in the morning with an idea, sit at my computer and start writing a report. Often, I'm done within a few hours, then craft a sales page, pop an order button on it - and email my list.

It all happens within 48 hours - rarely a bit longer. I can't remember the last time I've had one of these going for longer than a week!

Yet, for this homestudy program, I spent close to 10 months creating the course. I painstakingly crafted the content, planned the sequence, wrote the copy, created bonus reports and giveaways... in short, fussed over it like a newborn baby.

Today, as I tore open the parcel to unpack the contents, one phrase kept running over and over in my mind:

It's Been Worth It!

I had fun creating this course. It was a challenge - but one I enjoyed meeting.

The content in my program distills many years of experience and learning. There are parts I licenced from other Warriors, notably Kevin Riley. The course material is comprehensive and detailed.

In more than one sense, it was like having a baby. I mean, you start making plans powered by hopes and dreams for what the little one will do for your life, cherishing ambitions and goals for your child, and making preparations for the new arrival.

And When It Happens, It's Magic!

Sure, this will be followed by sleepless nights, colic, nappy-changes - and worse, as the infant grows into a noisome toddler and active school-kid. And I'm sure there will be a ton of work to do in marketing and promoting my new product. Yet it will be fun too.

And I've been wondering - isn't that what makes doing it all worthwhile? I've created many products before, and more than how profitable they were, what I remember best is the thrill of getting them done and out there.

Because I Was Working On Them With PASSION

Do you feel the passion in what I'm saying here? Is there any doubt I'll be able to convey this passion to my JV partners? Or through my sales copy to my prospective buyers?

That's where it all begins. And that's why I suggest, to anyone who asks, to get started with something they are passionate about.

And also make sure there's a purpose behind it. Mine is very clear, and pretty ambitious. It drove me to stick with this for 10 months - and will help me to continue for as long as it takes.

And finally, be persistent. Things may take a little longer than expected - stick with it.

So, am I going to tell you what the course is all about?

No.

But if you insist on learning about it, you can find details at
this website:

The reason for this note, however, is not to sell you the homestudy
(though you should buy it if you're a serious infopreneur), but is
to highlight the 3 'secrets' to creating a 'successful' product...

PASSION. PURPOSE. PERSISTENCE.

Ok, gotta go - the baby's crying for attention! :)
