for many children, born with a heart defect, it has a
different kind of significance.
Congenital Heart Defects Awareness Day - Feb.14th
A day when an international coalition of families,
individuals, non-profit organizations, support groups,
and health professionals join hands in a campaign to
build awareness of Congenital Heart Defects and Childhood
Heart Disease.
As a pediatric cardiac surgeon who sees the ravages
wrought by CHD in my daily practice, I applaud and
support this commendable initiative. And hope you,
my fellow-list member, will too.
It isn't often that I post messages to this list on
