What's wrong with TODAY?

On a forum, someone who read about my hectic, yet fun day yesterday with the Heart Kids blogathon said: "I'm inspired to do the same some day."

My reply: Thanks, why not begin TODAY?

It's exactly how what happened yesterday was set into motion - by someone on that very forum asking me many years ago, "Why not just get going TODAY?"

While it's nice to want to wait until certain specific circumstances and situations arise, the reality is there is no better time than now, no better day than today, no better person than you to set out and go for your dreams.

And I don't just mean charity, even your own business and personal goals begin today.

One of my favorite quotes comes from a famous Indian freedom fighter, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose:

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may never come. Today is yours.
Act. Act. Act.


Oh, and by the way, if you didn't drop by the Heart Kids blogathon yesterday, we raised a bit over $18,000 for charity which will fund at least 6 operations on children with congenital heart defects!
