For almost 10 months, since September 2006, I have been working on a big project. This morning, like I've done these past few days, I rushed to the front door when the bell rang, expecting my 'baby'.
Today was my lucky day.
Eight years back, I experienced the finest moments of my life when my daughter was born. Today, I felt a part of that sense of excitement, wonder and joy as I held the Priority Mail box in my hands!
10 months of work on a project may not sound like much - until you consider my typical product creation cycle. Most of the time, I wake up in the morning with an idea, sit at my computer and start writing a report. Often, I'm done within a few hours, then craft a sales page, pop an order button on it - and email my list.
It all happens within 48 hours - rarely a bit longer. I can't remember the last time I've had one of these going for longer than a week!
Yet, for this homestudy program, I spent close to 10 months creating the course. I painstakingly crafted the content, planned the sequence, wrote the copy, created bonus reports and giveaways... in short, fussed over it like a newborn baby.
Today, as I tore open the parcel to unpack the contents, one phrase kept running over and over in my mind:
I had fun creating this course. It was a challenge - but one I enjoyed meeting.
The content in my program distills many years of experience and learning. There are parts I licenced from other Warriors, notably Kevin Riley. The course material is comprehensive and detailed.
In more than one sense, it was like having a baby. I mean, you start making plans powered by hopes and dreams for what the little one will do for your life, cherishing ambitions and goals for your child, and making preparations for the new arrival.
Sure, this will be followed by sleepless nights, colic, nappy-changes - and worse, as the infant grows into a noisome toddler and active school-kid. And I'm sure there will be a ton of work to do in marketing and promoting my new product. Yet it will be fun too.
And I've been wondering - isn't that what makes doing it all worthwhile? I've created many products before, and more than how profitable they were, what I remember best is the thrill of getting them done and out there.
Because I Was Working On Them With PASSION
Do you feel the passion in what I'm saying here? Is there any doubt I'll be able to convey this passion to my JV partners? Or through my sales copy to my prospective buyers?
That's where it all begins. And that's why I suggest, to anyone who asks, to get started with something they are passionate about.
And also make sure there's a purpose behind it. Mine is very clear, and pretty ambitious. It drove me to stick with this for 10 months - and will help me to continue for as long as it takes.
And finally, be persistent. Things may take a little longer than expected - stick with it.
So, am I going to tell you what the course is all about?
No.
But if you insist on learning about it, you can find details at

The reason for this note, however, is not to sell you the homestudy
(though you should buy it if you're a serious infopreneur), but is
to highlight the 3 'secrets' to creating a 'successful' product...
Ok, gotta go - the baby's crying for attention! :)

Every day, several remarkable things cross my desk, my mind and my computer screen.
I love sharing them with you. When I send them by email, filters keep many of them out of your inbox.
That's why you have...

Remarkable is in the eye of the beholder. If the target market
wants to hear about it and wants to talk about it,
then it's remarkable. Then it's a
