I had a chat with the GODFATHER?
No, NOT Don Corleone - though that's one of my favorite stories!
This was the man many call the 'Godfather of Internet Marketing' - the
inimitable Mark Joyner. We had a stimulating, mind-expanding and thought
provoking conversation for what seemed a very short time - but was actually
close to TWO HOURS! Mark does that to you - keeps your mind racing with
ideas.
We did manage to capture a few of those moments on camera... here are 2
photos of our small meeting.
In this one, you can see me with my friends, Mohsin Rasool, Mark Joyner
and Kevin Riley.
And in this picture, I'm flanked by Mark Joyner and the inspirational
young lady who is also an online marketing expert, Ladan Lashkari
from Iran.
I've had a wonderful time these past 3 days in Singapore, meeting some
wonderful folks and putting faces to names I've known well, often for YEARS,
before finally meeting them in person.
It isn't all 'fun and games' - we did some pretty heavy business-building
activities too... and I got to pick Mark Joyner's brain which resulted in some
awesome ideas that'll take my online fundraising for the
Dr.Mani Children Heart Foundation to a whole new dimension.
Every day, several remarkable things cross my desk, my mind and my computer screen.
I love sharing them with you. When I send them by email, filters keep many of them out of your inbox.
