...is an INEXPENSIVE TEST!
It's what Jay Abraham taught me.
I practice it - in almost everything.
So when I heard the buzz around an ebook 'Adsense Secrets', I didn't follow the hype or trashing - but bought the book and put some of the lessons to the test.
Here are some interesting data from my test. These are for information - draw your own conclusions about whether or not the ebook is worth buying for yourself.

CONTROL - Pre Adsense Secrets
I didn't track very specifically - it's something this book said it would be better to do.
I had however set up 2 broad divisions (channels) for my 2 test sites. From them, I pulled data from the time period BEFORE implementing changes
ONE MONTH DATA:
Channel #1 - 207 views - 2 clicks - 1.0% clickthrough
Channel #2 - 461 views - 5 clicks - 1.1%
So I went back further and pulled out SIX MONTH DATA:
Channel #1 - 1,364 views - 20 clicks - 1.5% clickthrough
Channel #2 - 4,744 views - 43 clicks - 0.9%

TEST - Using Adsense Secrets ideas
I read the ebook, found 5 ideas to implement right away, made the changes in a day, and here are the results after ONE MONTH OF TESTING:
Channel #1 - 748 views - 0 clicks - 0% clickthrough
Channel #2 - 827 views - 20 clicks - 2.4%
Channel #3 - 749 views - 1 click - 0.1%
Channel #4 - 690 views - 15 clicks - 2.2% clickthrough
Channel #5 - 601 views - 4 clicks - 0.7%
Channel #6 - 521 views - 9 clicks - 1.7% clickthrough
URL #1 - 2319 views - 21 clicks - 0.9%
URL #2 - 1763 views - 27 clicks - 1.5%
COMPARISON data for the same time period, from my OLD channels:
OLD Channel #1 - 227 views - 4 clicks - 1.8% clickthrough
OLD Channel #2 - 660 views - 13 clicks - 2.0%
(these were channels left 'as-is' without any change)

Net-net, the revenue from my Adsense ads DROPPED a little bit from the earlier data, when measured by $ per visitor, or $ per time period - not significantly, but the numbers were too small to make meaningful comparisons.
Hope this helps.

Every day, several remarkable things cross my desk, my mind and my computer screen.
I love sharing them with you. When I send them by email, filters keep many of them out of your inbox.

Remarkable is in the eye of the beholder. If the target market
wants to hear about it and wants to talk about it,
then it's remarkable. Then it's a
