Dental Plan for a 22 yr old
If you have good oral habits and generally enjoy good oral health then you really don't need dental insurance. Most dental insurance companies have annual limits, high premiums, long waiting periods, minimum deductibles and so on.
I would suggest you put the money you plan on paying as premium in a bank account that earns a good interest. It can be some kind of term deposit where you can pay monthly a fixed amount. Don't touch the money unless it is for a dental treatment. Even if you pay in just $25 monthly. You will be sitting on small nest egg at the end of a few years when you really need dental treatment.
Believe me dental insurance companies aren't going to pay anything more than this. In fact as an insurance holder you will be paying vastly inflated costs.
You can negotiate better deals with your dentist yourself when the time comes for treatment.
