I've uploaded 3 photos from the O.R.
Caution: These are snapshots of the heart during surgery, and are 'graphic' - they might make you queasy (or at least, that's what my wife says - so be warned! :)

Both children are doing well, a few days after the operation.
As promised a few days back, today we operated on little 8-year old Vinod Kumar. A grade 4 student, Vinod had a combination of 2 heart defects - both of which are now repaired.
I'm just back after a 3-hour long operation, will post some amazing photographs of the heart operation here soon.
If you are one of the many who helped with the Heart Kids Blogathon...
Thank you for helping young Vinod - you are a special person!
All success

11 year old Sripriya is in the Intensive Care Unit - but has a smile on her face.
The little orphan who is being cared for by 'Udhavum Karangal' ('Hands That Help'), a charitable organization in India, was the first child to be operated sponsored by funds raised during last year's Heart Kids Blogathon.
I'll post details about her progress soon - and try and include some photographs too.
Thank you for making this possible. I could not have done it without your support.
And another piece of happy news to share is that the second patient will have his operation tomorrow. We're moving ahead. Thank you from my heart.
