MySpace.com versus Blogging
There is no hard, verifiable data about MySpace. The only information that comes out is from company releases every few months.
But trends indicate MySpace.com is growing faster than blogging.
There are about 30 million MySpace accounts. The blogosphere boasts around 3 times as many BLOGS - and many bloggers have multiple blogs.
MySpace.com signs up close to a quarter million new accounts every day. Only 100,000 new blogs launch daily - notice, I once was awed by these huge numbers, now it's 'only' 100k
MySpace boasts 1.5 million posts daily - more than even the combined total of blog posts made every day.
All these clearly indicate one thing - MySpace.com beats blogging, at least as things look now. ALL blogging - not just niche blogging or business blogging.
So, are you getting into MySpace.com or not? Sure, it's scary to think about mastering a new medium. But the scarier thought is sticking with pure blogging and missing out on MySpace networking!
