Meet Dr.Mani Sivasubramanian, Internet infopreneur and social entrepreneur!

Dr.Mani photo I’m not only an Internet infopreneur, but also a pediatric heart surgeon. I live in India, and treat little children born with congenital heart defects.

Heart surgery is expensive. Many of my patients (nearly 95% of them) come from poor families, and cannot afford the cost of treatment. So I decided to try and help fund their operations.

This was the simple concept behind an online adventure that started in 1996.

Since then, our team has raised more than $130,000 and funded heart surgery in 70 children (until April 2010), with many more to follow. My ambitious mission is to make high quality heart health care accessible and affordable to every Indian child.

So I create and sell ebooks and information products, and then donate a large part of the profits from my Internet infopreneur business to sponsor these operations. Many friends and supporters also do the same in their business.
